Supports and empowers carers, making it easier for them to cope. A growing
network of 88 Carers Centres throughout the UK provides 'one stop'
support services including grants, respite care, advocacy, training,
social events, counseling, outreach support and information via
the internet.
As a result of the Foundation's support, a Young Carers Fund has
been established, which grants awards that build on a talent or
interest or provides individual or group tuition to young carers.
This will help improve their educational attainment, particularly
for carers who want to explore the possibility of a career in the
hospitality sector.
