Championed by Hilton London Docklands.
Raises funds for research into the treatment of Late Infantile Battens – also known as CLN2 – which is a rare genetic disorder causing seizures, loss of muscle co-ordination, blindness and mental deterioration, and leading to a vegetative state and ultimately death (usually between the ages of 8 and 12). The development of therapies will directly benefit 500 children that are diagnosed with this devastating disease throughout the world and will be a potential cure for around another 40 genetic disorders, saving the lives of thousands of children.
