Supports the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, which receives over 100,000 children through its doors each year, from all over the East of Scotland. Assistance is given in the supply of extra medical equipment, improvements in child and family facilities, paediatric research and training, and the provision of extra items and services to make a child's stay in hospital less distressing for both the patient and his or her family.
