Girls Up Town was formed by a group of North East businesswomen with one idea in mind - to organise the ultimate fun night out and support a good cause at the same time.

The members are from a variety of backgrounds; from the leisure industry, from the media, from IT and design but are all single minded about ensuring that their events are always memorable, glamorous and talked about for months afterwards.

Our first event was a huge success and the committee are delighted to be back in the driving seat again, organising what is fast becoming THE event of the year for women of all ages from across the region.

This year Girls Up Town are organising our DIVAS AND DIAMONDS BALL for The Hilton in the Community Foundation and The Teenage Cancer Trust on 21st October 2011 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead.

The Teenage Cancer Trust, our nominated benificiary charity for this event, devotes itself to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults dealing with cancer. The charity has built a state-of-the-art unit in Newcastle that serves the North East and Cumbria which makes the stay in hospital for young people much more comfortable and also supports them through every stage of their treatment. They provide an invaluable service and have helped countless numbers of teenagers not only in the North East but across the UK.

The event is on Friday 21st October 2011 and starts at 7pm. Included in the sixty-five pound ticket price:
