Around the World in a Day

Around the World in a Day is a fun-filled community fundraising event initiated by Hilton in the Community Foundation and hosted by Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio of hotels in Europe. Our aim is to cumulatively travel the circumference of the Earth in just one day whilst raising all important funds for children and young people in your local community. This year – with your help – we want to go round twice!

In the Netherlands for the first time, all the Hilton Worldwide hotels will be organising an event at Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen, details below:

Nominated charity: Spieren voor Spieren

For a registration fee of 5 Euros you will receive a support pack with details of the day and fundraising information, an event t-shirt, and an invitation to the Heroes’ Reception. There is no minimum sponsorship target – just raise as much as you can! All net funds raised will be donated to the nominated local charity, Spieren voor Spieren. This annual summer event has already supported 158 different schools and good causes in our local communities across Europe.

Our main aims for the event are:

• To clock up miles to help us cumulatively travel the circumference of the earth - Twice, 49,803.10 miles
• Raise all important funds for a local children’s charities and causes
• To most importantly to have fun!
