On June 25 th 2011, Hilton hotels throughout Europe together with Hilton in the Community Foundation will be hosting a national charity event, Around the World in a Day, with the aim of collectively completing the circumference of the earth 40,075.16 kilometers, twice in just one day.
Hilton Hotels in Prague are inviting team members to participate in a fun, healthy and exciting day which will help raise funds for young people in need by supporting Tereza Maxova’s Foundation, project Under the Wings. The charity’s mission is to reduce the number of children living in institutional care – about 24,000 in the Czech Republic. Money raised will specifically be used to give children growing up in care the opportunity to take part in specialist English language courses, thereby improving their communication skills, confidence and discursive abilities.
Be part of this event by becoming the Around the World in a Day Friend and joining us on the day! Help us create smiles on children’s faces by make a donation. All the proceeds will benefit the Under the Wings project of Tereza Maxova’s Foundation.
Hilton in the Community Foundation was founded in 2000 as Hilton Worldwide charity dedicated to supporting young people in need. Donations are funded almost entirely through the generous efforts and contributions of Hilton team members, family and friends and with the support of Hilton guests and company suppliers.
Together we can make a big difference!
